First Give is an organisation that helps young people interact with local and national charities, raising the students’ knowledge and understanding of this sector.
It has been another outstanding year for assessment performance at APS, both in the main school and our sixth form.
This past academic year was meant to see us all celebrating 21 years since the school’s opening. Alexandra Park School was coming of age. In the Spring of 2020 we were busy forward planning a series of events to run through 2020/21, acknowledging this important milestone. Oh how things can change. March 20th 2020 and the first lockdown came along and the rest is history…
One of our aims this year has been to maintain APS as a stable haven of relative calm in an increasingly excitable world.
Weldome back to this first newsletter of the 2020/2021 academic year.
As Andy Williams croons on his 60’s classic, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year”, Christmas offers the opportunity for us to spend quality time with family and friends.
We are a school that prides itself on excellence across all departments and subject areas. Our recent examinations are one measure of this. Two recent awards also highlight this strength.
It has once again been a summer of school improvements and school successes, both giving us cause to celebrate. Let us start with our wonderful students - and didn't they do well?
