The New River Trust Board of Trustees is proposing to make two changes to Alexandra Park School’s current admissions arrangements. These changes will apply to all admissions from September 2020 onwards.
What will change?
The proposed changes are to formalise the Trust’s approach to fraudulent applications.
From September 2020, New River Trust proposes to:
- Introduce a clause about misleading or false information, whereby the Board of Trustees reserves the right to withdraw the offer of a place at the school if the place was secured on the basis of an address of convenience or other misleading information.
- Clarify that sibling connection will not apply if a place is obtained for an older child using fraudulent information.
What will remain the same?
With the exception of the two changes proposed above, the admissions arrangements for Alexandra Park School from September 2020 are unchanged from that of previous years. As now, all admissions to the school will continue to be managed via Haringey’s Admissions Department.
